Introduction
We are seeking a strategic, execution-focused Partner Marketing Manager to accelerate growth through IBM's partner ecosystem. This role will lead partner-led demand creation across the Select Territory, working closely with partners, sales, and global teams to transform ecosystem collaboration into competitive advantage and measurable business outcomes.
Your Role And Responsibilities
This role is responsible for designing and executing partner-led and partner-integrated demand strategies that accelerate growth across IBM's Select Territory. The focus is on activating partners as a force multiplierconnecting IBM technology, partner capabilities, and customer needs through scalable, digital-first go-to-market motions that drive measurable pipeline and revenue impact.
The Partner Marketing Manager plays a critical role in building one unified IBM + Partner demand engine, working closely with partners, sales, GEO teams, and global stakeholders.

Partner Demand Strategy & Execution
- Design and execute partner-led and co-marketed demand programs aligned to Select Territory priorities.
- Collaborate with global Partner Acceleration and demand strategy teams to localize and scale partner GTM plays.
- Translate IBM technology value into partner-ready campaigns, assets, and activation plans.
Partner Activation & Enablement
- Activate partners across key routes to market (VARs, VADs, marketplaces) through integrated campaigns and co-marketing initiatives.
- Enable partners with clear marketing guidance, best practices, and ready-to-use assets to drive consistent execution.
- Act as a trusted marketing advisor to partners, helping them accelerate demand and pipeline creation.
Pipeline Growth & Yield Optimization
- Drive partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline through digital campaigns, partner activation programs, and joint sales motions.
- Optimize demand progression, lead velocity, and conversion across the partner journey.
- Work closely with sales and partner teams to ensure strong follow-up and pipeline progression.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across sales, partner teams, and GEO marketing.
- Align partner marketing strategies with business priorities and revenue goals.
- Serve as the connector between global frameworks and local execution.
Campaign & Program Management
- Execute integrated partner campaigns across digital, outbound, and selected physical engagements.
- Support key partner and ecosystem events with clear demand plans and post-event conversion strategies.
- Continuously test, learn, and optimize programs to improve scale and impact.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Proven experience in B2B partner marketing, demand generation, or ecosystem marketing, ideally within enterprise technology or software
- Strong understanding of partner routes to market (VARs, distributors, marketplaces)
- Experience driving pipeline-focused marketing programs with partners
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align marketing execution to business outcomes
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to track, measure, and optimize campaign and pipeline performance
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- A proactive, strategic thinker with a hands-on, execution-oriented approach
