Job description
The Security Partner team's mission is to work internally across all the business and functional teams that interface with Google's most strategically complex partners to help shape a cohesive cross-product area engagement strategy for Google.
In this role, you will use knowledge of the market and expertise with partners combined with research and investigative abilities to embed Google's Security suite of products with Partner's existing go-to-market strategy.
You will advise and support our Business and Product teams to enhance our engagement strategy. You will conduct data collection and analysis, identifying key macro trends and future market developments from analysis of the telco industry, and adopt a strategic perspective to develop recommendations. You will explore and uncover the business strategies of the partners, and know how our range of product offerings both complement and differ.

Job responsibilities
- Develop and execute our security plans with our strategic and focus partners in South East Asia.
- Own the process of business acquisition through selected partners to meet assigned quotas, promoting to partner accounts and facilitating sell-through opportunities after the initial sale.
- Develop and execute on business plans that provide consistent year over year business growth in selected partner accounts. Drive our security partner programs and ensure adoption of the same.
- Maintain a consistent set of Sales, Technical and Marketing Benefits to partners that will facilitate the growth in the Security practice.
- Provide input on business opportunities, agreement discussions, market announcements, and executive decision-making. Drive consensus on outcomes that balance both value and risk.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of technology related sales, business development, channel sales, or partner management experience.
- Experience in a quota carrying Security Sales role with Managed Security Service Providers (MSSP) or security resellers.
- Experience managing business performance of partners and mapping partner capabilities and priorities to meet/exceed quarterly business goals.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with Security Operations (SecOps) toolset including SIEM, Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR), Threat Intelligence and EDR tools.
- Understanding of the Google Cloud partner ecosystem and cloud transformations, including product and solution knowledge in cybersecurity and cloud, along with the ability to use key metrics to analyze, predict, and react to business trends.
- Ability to build relationships, engage with C-level executives, and ensure partner, and customer success.
- Ability to communicate in Tagalog Or Vietnamese as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions with the customers.
