Our client, Yuewen Group is an IP collectibles and lifestyle retail brand, offering creative merchandise inspired by popular characters, stories, and cultural content. Our store focuses on delivering an engaging retail experience through product storytelling, customer interaction, and curated collectibles.
They have partnered with Softopia to open up their first ever flagship retail store in Singapore and looking for enthusiastic Part-Time Retail Associates to support daily store operations and deliver excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Store Operations & Sales Support
- Support daily store operations to ensure smooth and efficient store performance.
- Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and product organisation.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the store layout is clean, organised, and appealing to customers.
- Support cash handling and POS transactions accurately.
- Assist the Store Manager in monitoring sales performance and basic operational reporting where required.
Customer Experience & Brand Engagement
- Deliver friendly, professional, and customer-focused service at all times.
- Engage customers through product knowledge and storytelling related to the brand's collectibles and merchandise.
- Assist customers with product enquiries and recommendations.
- Support in-store campaigns, promotions, and new product launches.
- Contribute to a positive and engaging retail environment.
Requirements
- Prior retail or customer service experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Friendly, proactive, and service-oriented personality.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Interest in collectibles, toys, pop culture, or lifestyle merchandise is a plus.
- Able to work retail shifts, including weekends or public holidays when required.
- Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Singapore.
Employment Details
- Position: Part-Time Retail Associate
- Working Location: Central Singapore (Retail Mall Environment)
- Hourly Rate: SGD $15 per hour
- Working Hours: Flexible part-time shifts based on roster
