Part-Time Primary & Secondary Level Math & Science Tutor (Ang Mo Kio, Hougang)

We are an education centre located in Ang Mo Kio & Hougang, looking for passionate and experienced part-time Primary and Secondary level Math Teachers to join us!

All Materials and Training will be provided. Back to back classes arranged. Maximum of 8 students a class.

The shortlisted candidate must have relevant classroom teaching experience. Please indicate the subjects and levels you have taught in your resume.

Attractive hourly rates: Starting from $30/hr to $60/hr

Commencement: 21st June 2026 (Take over existing classes from another Teacher)

1. P5 Master Math (Mon, 5-7pm)

2. P6 Super Science (Mon, 7-9pm)

3. Sec 4 E Math (Sun, 10am-12pm)

Location: 678 Hougang Avenue 8

1. P1 Master Math (Tue, 4-5.30pm)

2. P3 Master Math (Tue, 5.30-7pm)

3. P6 Master Math (Tue, 7-9pm)

4. Sec 1 Math (Sat, 10am-12pm)

Job Description

• Deliver engaging and interactive Math lessons in accordance with StarChamps curriculum for students in the Primary and Secondary level.
• Be observant and responsive to each student's learning pace and level of understanding.
• Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and ensure active participation in class.
• Mark students work and provide additional support to weaker learners.
• Handle classroom administration and maintain proper student records.
• Establish and maintain good relationships with students and parents.
• Provide term progress reports and updates on students performance and progress.
• Create and maintain a safe, conducive, and positive learning environment for all students.

Job Requirements:

• A Degree in any discipline (Math or Education-related preferred)
• Minimum 2-3 years of Math and/or Science teaching experience
• Must be an engaging teacher who can capture students attention and make learning enjoyable
• Must have a keen eye for observing students, understanding their learning needs, and adapting lessons accordingly
• Passionate about helping every child learn with confidence
• Comfortable with the use of technology in class (e.g. Laptop, Projector, tablets)
• Classes available on weekdays from 4 pm onwards and weekends from 10 am
• Must be able to commit for one full academic year (until 30 November 2026)
