Job Summary
We seek a part-time piano and electric keyboard teacher to deliver engaging lessons on Saturdays and weekdays, ensuring students meet ABRSM, Trinity, or LCM exam board standards.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging piano and electric keyboard lessons that develop students musical skills effectively
- Apply detailed knowledge of ABRSM, Trinity, or LCM exam board requirements to prepare students for successful assessments
- Assess students abilities promptly and accurately to tailor teaching methods that enhance learning outcomes
- Create and maintain a supportive, motivating learning environment that encourages student progress and builds confidence
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in piano or electric keyboard instruction
- Familiarity with ABRSM, Trinity, or LCM exam board syllabi and assessment criteria
- Demonstrate sight-reading skills and teaching methodology during the interview
- Completed Grade 6 music theory or above
