About Us:
Blue Skies Cafe and Bar is a cafe-bar concept offering all-day brunch, patisserie, and Singaporean influenced mains. We are looking for a passionate and skilled Pastry Chef to join our team part-time and contribute to our evolving dessert and pastry program.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and baking of pastries, cakes, cookies, and other desserts for daily service.
- Ensure consistency, taste, and quality of all baked goods.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen according to SFA guidelines.
- Proper storage and inventory management of baking ingredients and supplies.
- Support the kitchen team as needed.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in pastry/baking is required.
- Availability to work at least 2 days per week (including weekends if needed).
- Good knowledge of baking techniques and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Responsible, punctual, and passionate about food.
