Job Summary
You will deliver online English and/or Mathematics coaching to international students from China, acting as a mentor to build their confidence and independence in learning within an international education setting, before arriving to Singapore.
Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging online coaching sessions for international students from China in English and/or Mathematics
- Guide students to improve English communication skills and mathematical understanding through interactive lessons
- Facilitate student-centred learning that encourages active participation and confidence in speaking English
- Support students in developing effective study habits and personalized learning strategies
- Follow structured lesson plans and the SpotzOn teaching framework to ensure consistent learning outcomes
- Provide timely and constructive feedback on student progress and learning achievements
- Maintain professional and clear communication with students, parents, and team members to support student development
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Local undergraduates are welcome
- Prior experience in tutoring, teaching, coaching, or mentoring international students
- Familiarity with the Singapore education system to better align coaching approaches
- Mandarin-speaking ability to communicate with Chinese students and parents when necessary (job-related for communication)
- Experience studying in Singapore or exposure to international education environments

Working Arrangement
- Part-time, remote work with flexible scheduling based on availability
- Minimum commitment per assignment is preferred to ensure student continuity, assignment ranged from 2 months to 6 months
- Salary $50 hourly, $1200 per assignment
