Location:

Little India (Mustafa Centre + nearby retail stores)

Jurong to Tuas (Foreign Worker Dormitory Clusters)

Working Hours

Merchandising: 2 hours/day (flexible, includes weekends)

Delivery: 7:00 PM - 9:30 PM

Total: 3.5 to 4 hours/day, 5 days per week

Role Overview

This is a dual-role position combining in-store merchandising and evening last-mile delivery. The role focuses on improving retail visibility and sales during the day, followed by fulfilling daily essential grocery deliveries to worker dormitories in the evening.

Key Responsibilities

1. Merchandising (Little India - Day Time)

Visit assigned stores (Mustafa + 4 nearby shops)

Arrange and replenish shelves for strong product visibility

Ensure clean, organized, and attractive displays

Promote products directly to customers and drive sales

Support weekend promotional activities

Coordinate with store staff when required

Capture photos and submit daily activity updates

2. Delivery Operations (Evening - Jurong to Tuas)

Collect daily essential/grocery items from supplier

Sort and prepare delivery orders for dispatch

Deliver to assigned dormitory clusters (Jurong to Tuas area)

Handle 1 to 20 deliveries per day

Ensure timely completion of all deliveries by 9:30 PM

Maintain basic delivery records and confirmations

Requirements

Must be physically active and able to handle both store work and deliveries

Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently

Good communication skills (English required Tamil/Hindi preferred)

Comfortable interacting with customers and workers

Familiar with Singapore roads (especially Jurong/Tuas area)

Own vehicle needed. Van preferred for delivery role

Basic smartphone usage (WhatsApp reporting, photos, updates)

Preferred Experience

Retail merchandising / promoter experience

Delivery / logistics experience

Familiarity with dormitory locations is an advantage

Compensation

Hourly / daily rate (to be discussed)

Potential incentives based on performance and delivery volume

CPF applicable for Singapore Citizens/PRs

Shift Completion

End of shift: 9:30 PM, once all deliveries are completed

Strong in-store product visibility and sales conversion

Efficient and timelyv delivery operations to dorm clusters

Daily reporting and accountability across both functions
