Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Part-time Mathematics Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction for our O-Level/ IGCSE and A-Level / AS-Level curricula.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of advanced secondary and high school Mathematics, strong pedagogical skills, and the ability to inspire and engage students of diverse learning backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Delivery & Teaching: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, high-impact Mathematics lessons tailored for Cambridge O-Level / IGCSE and A-Level / AS-Level syllabi (Elementary Math, Additional Math, Pure Math, Mechanics, and Statistics).
- Assessment & Feedback: Assess, mark, and monitor student coursework, assignments, and mock examinations. Provide timely, constructive feedback to help students improve exam techniques and conceptual mastery.
- Student Support: Identify individual learning needs, provide targeted support or extension work for students, and build academic confidence in problem-solving.
- Classroom Management: Maintain an organized, inclusive, and positive learning environment conducive to active learning and critical thinking.
- Parent & School Communication: Collaborate with academic coordinators and maintain open, professional communication with parents regarding student progress and performance.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Education, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a closely related field. A PGDE or teaching credential is highly advantageous.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience handling Cambridge O-Level / IGCSE and/or A-Level / AS-Level Mathematics.
- Proven track record of preparing students successfully for national or international standardized board examinations.
- Strong mastery of Cambridge/Edexcel Secondary and High School Mathematics curricula.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom facilitation skills.
- Patient, approachable, and adaptable to diverse learning styles.
- Familiarity with educational technology and blended learning tools is preferred.
Work Schedule & Compensation
