Part-Time Lecturer in Translation (SOH)

The School of Humanities at NTU invites applications for part-time teaching ofcourses under the Minor in Translation in the Chinese Programme. For each course, the instructor will be responsible for leading classes as well as planning the syllabus, class preparation, devising and marking assignments, and handling student consultations. Courses will be taught in Chinese/or English, as appropriate.

Candidates should have an advanced degree and a proven track-record in teaching.

Candidates will be expected to demonstrate practical expertise in one or more of the following areas:

• Professional and specialised translation
• Interpreting
• Translation, technology and AI

Candidates should also meet the following requirements:

• Master's degree or higher
• Teaching experience at a tertiary level
