Part-time Kitchen Assistant

Job Summary

You will assist in preparing baked goods by shaping, cutting, decorating, packaging, and maintaining a clean workstation to support efficient bakery operations.

Responsibilities

• Shape, portion, and place baked items on trays accurately for baking
• Cut baked goods such as loaves and cakes to specified sizes
• Package and label baked products correctly for distribution
• Maintain cleanliness and organize the workstation to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
• Support chefs by preparing ingredients and handling bakery equipment as required

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in food production or kitchen operations
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices with Food Safety Level 1 certification

Other Information

• Working hours: 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, with a 1-hour meal break
