Position: Florist / Floral Assistant
Location: 1015 Geylang East Avenue 3 #01-127
Work Schedule: To be discussed. Must be able to work weekends.
$13 - $15 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Create floral arrangements (wreaths, bouquets, stands) with care and creativity
- Prepare and condition flowers (cutting, trimming, arranging)
- Handle daily shop operations (receiving deliveries, stock upkeep, cleaning workspace)
- Assist customers with walk-ins and phone/online orders
- Ensure timely setup and delivery for funerals and events
- Support in seasonal promotions, display setup, and social media photos
- Basic data entry for receipts of floral purchases
Requirements
- Passion for flowers and design (experience preferred, but training can be provided)
- Good eye for detail and colour coordination
- Physically fit - able to lift and move flower stands/arrangements
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently as well as in a team
- Willing to work flexible hours (including weekends & some evenings)
- Basic communication skills in English
