Roles & Responsibilities :
- Cost Estimation & Analysis: Prepare cost estimates for requests for quotation (RFQs) and new maintenance jobs, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
- Data Management: Maintain and update cost information in systems (e.g., Bill of Materials (BOMs), recipes, pricing), collaborating with relevant teams to ensure data accuracy.
- Documentation & Record Keeping: Manage and organise electronic records related to contracts, vendor information, and other cost documentation.
- Invoice & Account Reconciliation: Validate vendor invoices and assist with account reconciliations to support financial reporting.
- Reporting & Support: Generate weekly/monthly cost summaries, monitor supplier performance (delivery, quality, cost), and provide general support to the costing or finance manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Education: A Diploma in any field is typically required (eg. engineering / business / accounting)
- Experience: Employer looking for fresh entry level or without working experience
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft (Excel / Words/ Power Point / Office)
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail are crucial for this role.
