Job Description

Job Summary

Learn 2 Play Music Academy seeks a friendly, organised Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support daily operations, manage customer interactions, coordinate schedules, and assist with administrative tasks to ensure smooth academy functioning.

Responsibilities

  • Greet walk-in customers and deliver responsive, helpful customer service to meet their needs
  • Respond promptly to enquiries via phone, email, and messaging platforms to provide accurate information
  • Process student registrations, invoices, payments, and retail sales accurately and efficiently
  • Coordinate teachers schedules and arrange replacement lessons to maintain smooth class operations
  • Monitor and ensure timely collection of school fees to support financial processes
  • Provide front counter support to facilitate daily academy activities and operations
  • Assist the Supervisor with administrative duties and operational projects to improve workflow
  • Track inventory levels and replenish supplies to maintain adequate stock for academy needs
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the academy environment for a welcoming atmosphere
  • Interact professionally and respectfully with students, parents, teachers, and colleagues, demonstrating compassion and integrity

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of administrative or customer service experience preferred
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail and Calendar) or equivalent office productivity software.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and enjoy working with children and families
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Mandarin proficiency is an advantage for communicating with some parents

Other Information

Working Schedule

  • Wednesdays and Fridays
  • 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm
  • Applicants should be able to commit to both working days. Candidates who are able to provide occasional weekend support will have an advantage.

  • Applicants should be prepared to commit to the role for a minimum of 12 months

Salary & Benefits

  • SGD $8.00-$12.00 per hour (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
