Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Paralegal to support our Legal department. You will assist with document preparation, contract management, corporate secretarial matters, and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support in contract management, including tracking and filing agreements on the contract management platform, coordinate signing workflows across contracting parties, and maintaining up-to-date standard contract templates.
- Assist with drafting, formatting, processing of a broad range of documents, including preparing basic legal documents and/or performing initial reviews of contractual documents.
- Coordinate corporate secretarial matters for regional entities including preliminary drafting work, document execution, notarization, and legalization processes. Maintain an accurate database of corporate records and filings for all regional entities.
- Organize legal repositories, process invoices for legal matters, assist with filings and compliance workstreams.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Degree/ Diploma in Law/Legal Studies, or a related field.
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience in similar roles (paralegal, legal executive, contract manager) within an in-house corporate legal department/ function (preferred).
- Experience with contract management tools, DocuSign, Microsoft Office, and basic AI tools.
- Good command of English and proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken) to effectively manage communication and collaboration with other regional entities in Asia (China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan).
- Good general computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint).
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and work cross-functionally.
