Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Real Estate and Corporate Paralegal to provide comprehensive legal support across both property and corporate practice areas. This role involves assisting with a broad range of transactions, including real estate matters, corporate governance, and commercial arrangements, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

What you'll do:

• Assist fee earners with international conveyancing transactions – Prepare, draft, and review legal documents including sale and purchase agreements, leases, transfer pro-forma documents. This role does not involve handling Singapore conveyancing transactions.

• Liaise with clients, fee earners, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions. This will include responding to client inquiries and provide updates on transaction status in a timely and professional manner.

• Manage file opening and closing procedures, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant. Maintain organised records of case files, correspondence, and legal documents.

• Coordinate and track key transaction status, timelines, milestones, and deadlines.

• Assist with loan documentation and financing arrangements with financial institutions.

• Support due diligence exercises for mergers and acquisitions, investments, and financing transactions.

• Organise and manage data rooms and corporate documentation for transactions.

Who we're looking for:

• Minimum of two years experience gained in a comparable environment (ideally law firm) at an appropriate level.

• Confident stakeholder manager, with proven experience engaging with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with accurate use of grammar and punctuation.

• Strong proficiency in written and spoken English.

• Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment.

• Dynamic problem-solver, capable of finding creative, commercial, and pragmatic solutions where required.

• Able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
