Responsibilities:
- Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, identifying key contractual obligations, risks and deviations for escalation where necessary.
- Provide legal support for customer, supplier, procurement, engineering, technology, maintenance and service-related agreements, including matters involving confidentiality and intellectual property.
- Support corporate governance activities, Board and shareholder documentation, statutory filings, corporate records and legal entity management across the organisation.
- Monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments, conduct research on commercial and cross-border matters, and support the development of compliance policies, procedures and training materials.
- Assist with investments, restructuring and other corporate transactions, including legal due diligence, document reviews, data-room management and coordination with external advisers.
- Maintain contract repositories and legal records, monitor contractual deadlines and obligations, and drive improvements in contract lifecycle management, legal workflows, templates and technology tools.
- Coordinate legal matters across internal stakeholders, regional businesses and external counsel, supporting dispute matters and legal administration while maintaining appropriate confidentiality and discretion.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Law
- At least 3 years of experience in paralegal, preferably in-house
- Experience reviewing and supporting customer, supplier, NDA, technology and cross-border commercial agreements, with exposure to intellectual property matters preferred.
- Familiarity with corporate governance, subsidiary management, legal operations and/or regulatory compliance activities would be advantageous.
