Job Description

The Company

Our client is a world-renown European FMCG brand with a strong footprint across Asia Pacific. They are looking to hire a Legal Executive/Assistant / Secretary to support the General Counsel and a small regional legal team. This is a 6-month rolling contract based centrally, with a full office presence (5 days per week).

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive-level administrative support to the General Counsel and up to two overseas lawyers.
  • Manage and organise documents, including maintaining a contract repository, coordinating contract execution, and tracking deadlines across multiple brands and entities.
  • Support company secretarial activities such as coordinating signatures, managing filings, and handling corporate documentation.
  • Assist with litigation preparation, including compiling bundles and managing timelines.
  • Handle general office administration, printing, and paper-based organisation (to support a GC who prefers hard copies).
  • Coordinate with regional teams across Asia.
  • Adapt quickly in a fast-paced, start-up style environment, while managing shifting priorities and interruptions with professionalism.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a EA to law firm partners, a legal secretary or paralegal experience within a law firm environment is preferred.
  • Company secretarial background is also welcome.
  • Well-suited for a seasoned professional seeking a short-term or contract role.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese would be an advantage but is not essential.
  • Well-presented, professional, and confident in liaising with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, with both administrative and contract management experience.
