Job Description
- Manage and maintain the organisation's IP and trademark portfolio, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Prepare, file, and monitor trademark applications and renewals in multiple jurisdictions.
- Conduct trademark searches and provide reports to assist in risk assessments.
- Coordinate with external counsel and other stakeholders on IP-related matters.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents and agreements related to IP and trademarks.
- Maintain accurate records and databases for the legal department.
- Provide administrative support to the legal team as required.
- Stay updated on IP and trademark laws to ensure the organisation's compliance.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Paralegal IP, Trademarks should have:
- Diploma or degree in Law, IP, or a related field.
- Ability to read and converse in mandarin to liaise with stakeholders in China who converse in Mandarin.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in IP management or legal support roles, either in-house or in a law firm.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage both structured legal processes and day-to-day admin responsibilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and related digital tools familiarity with DocuSign is advantageous.
- Comfortable working independently and adapting quickly to established processes.
