Key Responsibilities
A. Legal Counsel & ParalegalSupport
- Draft, review, and prepare a variety of legal documents, including letters, contracts, non-disclosure agreements, and routine legal correspondence.
- Prepare and compile board reports, internal compliance materials, and business presentations with legal content.
- Conduct basic legal research and summarize findings on relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents impacting the Group's operations.
- Manage and organize legal files, documentation, and databases, ensuring easy retrieval and strict confidentiality.
- Liaise with external law firms and regulatory bodies as directed, coordinating responses and tracking progress.
B. Executive & Administrative Support
- Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to Managing Director, managing a complex and dynamic schedule.
- Arrange, coordinate, and prioritize all business meetings, including agenda preparation, venue booking, and logistics.
- Manage personal appointments and commitments for Managing Director with the same level of professionalism and efficiency.
- Handle confidential correspondence, emails, and communications on behalf of the Managing Director.
- Make detailed travel arrangements (flights, accommodation, ground transport, visas) for both business and personal trips.
- Process expenses and maintain a systematic filing system for all administrative and personal documents.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a recognized University. Admission to the bar in [Jurisdiction, e.g., Singapore, Hong Kong, etc.] is highly preferred. Candidates with a Paralegal Certification and exceptional experience may be considered.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of combined experience in a legal role (law firm or in-house) and as a personal/executive assistant to C-suite level management.
- Technical Skills:
Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw).
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
