Due to ongoing growth and consistent workflow, we are currently seeking a Paralegal to support our Singapore-based Energy, Engineering, Marine & Construction practice. The role presents a fantastic opportunity to join an international firm of industry experts, acting on behalf of a growing and diverse local and international client base, with a particular emphasis on the PRC domestic market.
Key responsibilities
. Conducting legal research related to a broad spectrum of non-contentious practice areas (in particular, M&A, project development, commodity offtake, oil and gas, power and mining sectors)
. Preparing advice based on the legal research conducted
. Drafting and reviewing legal documents and agreements
. Organising case files and proof reading of materials and
. Project management on advisory matters across multiple jurisdictions.
Candidate profile
. Previous paralegal experience, preferably relating to Energy, Engineering, Marine & Construction, M&A, project development, commodity offtake, oil and gas, power and mining sectors
. Educated to Diploma in Law level, or local or foreign equivalent qualification
. Excellent attention to detail and able to manage competing priorities and work with tight timelines
. Proven ability to work as part of a successful team
. Strong research and problem-solving skills
. Proven initiative and ability to work independently
. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
. Fluent in Mandarin (reading, writing and oral) due to interaction with clients
