Job Description

To support the growth of our business across the region, Linklaters Singapore is looking for a paralegal / transactional analyst to join our Capital Markets team. Reporting to associates and counsel, with direct interaction with partners at times, your work would focus on the equity capital markets practice, providing dedicated matter support to ensure projects are completed accurately, on time and to clients satisfaction.

While successful candidates will be hired on a paralegal / transactional analyst or equivalent level, a path for progression will be available to those who perform at high levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and commenting on disclosure documents
  • conducting due diligence on equity capital markets issuers and transactions
  • assisting with the preparation of deal documentation and review of CPs, including accounting-related documentation
  • supporting on administrative aspects of deals (e,g., liaising with banks, issuers and other counsel at various stages of deal execution) and
  • assisting with bible preparation and deal closings.

Key Requirements:

  • Prior experience as an intern, paralegal, legal assistant or junior associate at a law firm, ideally in a capital markets practice
  • proactive and independent with a keen eye for attention to detail
  • strong drafting skills in English
  • proficiency in Hindi language to liaise with Hindi-speaking stakeholders
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills and
  • competent and eager to join a busy capital markets practice, with the necessary gravitas to work effectively with the team at all levels.
