Position Overview: The Paralegal will join a team of five other legal professionals which oversees all legal aspects of a Southeast Asian aviation group's operations, transactions, and compliance efforts. This role requires a proven transaction manager who can support leasing and other transactions from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
. Support and take ownership of arrange of transactions, including aircraft leasing and financing transactions
. Draft, review and/or negotiate ancillary documents and corporate authorisations
. Manage conditions precedent and conditions subsequent, including the signing process
. Liaise with local counsel, transaction counsel, counterparties and other service providers, including managing invoices
. Liaise with internal stakeholders (including management, commercial, finance/accounts and operational/technical) in connection with transactions and/or contract management to ensure efficient deal execution and compliance with internal policies and applicable laws
. Manage International Registry accounts and conduct filings and registrations
. Complete and/or review lease review checklists and provide management with advice in connection with the same
. Lead efforts to develop and maintain an accurate and up-to-date lease management system and otherwise implement tools and streamline processes
Educational Background:
. Bachelor's degree or diploma in law, or other relevant legal qualification, from a common law jurisdiction
Professional Experience:
. Minimum of 6 years of legal experience, preferably in finance, corporate and/or commercial areas of practice
. Minimum of 3 years of experience in the aviation industry dealing with aircraft lease and financing documents, preferably in Southeast Asia
