About the team:

At Aspire, we understand the critical role that legal guidance plays in shaping our strategy and ensuring operational excellence. Our Legal Team is at the forefront of driving licensing strategies, managing compliance risks, and providing sound legal advice to guide Aspire's strategy. By embedding legal insight into our strategic planning, the team ensures that Aspire operates within regulatory frameworks while adhering to best practices across all areas of the business.

About the role:

  • Preparation and filing of licensing applications for the company
  • Assist in reviewing corporate agreements and documents
  • Assist in document retrieval to other departments
  • Research legal points from time to time
  • Providing administrative and secretarial support to the legal team, including but not limited to maintenance of electronic agreements, maintain database of legal documents, printing, scanning, filing, organising, proof-reading and mailing documents.
  • Handle a variety of general corporate legal matters
  • Other tasks which may be assigned to you from time to time

Minimum qualifications:

  • 1 - 3 years relevant working experience either in a law firm or in-house in a corporate legal department
  • Diploma in Law (Degree Holder is welcome, but not necessary). Paralegal certification will be advantageous
  • Proficient in MS Office and G Suite
  • Able to work independently to manage filings and licensing applications and conduct legal research
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Conscientious, meticulous and with an eye for detail
  • Positive attitude, consultative approach and self-motivation are all essential
  • Highest work ethic and unlimited drive
  • 100% execution-minded, hands-on approach
  • High sense of urgency
  • Strong interpersonal and social skills
