About the Role
The Paralegal - Antitrust & Competition is an integral part of Latham's Legal Professional and Paralegal team and will work to support the firm's Antitrust & Competition practice. The paralegal will be responsible for assisting attorneys throughout all phases of Asia-Pacific antitrust matters, including managing matter documentation, coordinating regulatory filings, conducting legal and factual research, tracking deadlines, and supporting client deliverables. The successful candidate will be expected to work independently, manage multiple matters simultaneously, maintain high levels of accuracy, and proactively identify and resolve issues. This role will be based in our Singapore office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and maintaining filing trackers, regulatory calendars, matter status reports, and project plans
- Drafting forms, letters, or other legal documents
- Coordinating competition and merger control filings across multiple jurisdictions and liaising with local counsel as required
- Reviewing, organising, and analysing large volumes of documents and data for investigations, regulatory requests, and due diligence exercises
- Providing timely updates and status reports to attorneys and clients
- Ensuring accuracy, version control, and compliance with firm standards and procedures
- Anticipating typical work for a case or transaction and work with supervisors to ensure all aspects are addressed

- Experience as a paralegal or legal professional in a leading law firm, regulatory authority, competition agency, consulting firm, or in-house legal department, preferably
- Experience supporting competition, antitrust, regulatory, investigations, or litigation matters, preferably
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, and fluent proficiency in Mandarin, preferably
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant jurisdiction
