Packaging Sales & Procurement Executive

Brief Summary

Join a dynamic team as a vital link in the Packaging Materials Division, where your expertise will drive customer satisfaction and strategic growth. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with clients and suppliers in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

1. Cultivate strong relationships with clients in various departments, including Purchasing, Marketing, and Production.
2. Conduct regular visits to clients to assess their needs, introduce innovative packaging solutions, and support quality discussions.
3. Collaborate with suppliers on raw materials, production, and quality control, including regular site visits.
4. Manage the artwork development process and ensure all product specifications are accurate from sample to mass production.
5. Initiate weekly and monthly supplier meetings and maintain clear communication with internal teams to align goals.
6. Develop annual sales plans and provide regular sales forecasts along with relevant commercial documents (costing sheets, quotations, invoices, etc.).
7. Monitor product quality and consistency through production and QC data analysis while coordinating logistics and shipping operations.
8. Engage in market research to source new materials, suppliers, and clients, assisting in strategic business expansion.
9. Participate in site visits for production supervision and printing inspections in the region.

Requirements

1. Degree in a relevant field preferred.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related trading business, specifically with petrochemical products or packaging.
3. Strong understanding of trading terms and practices.
4. Willingness to travel regionally and occasionally overseas for business meetings.
5. Valid Class 3 driving license is required for travel.
