Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Packaging Designer to join our team. You will be responsible for creating innovative packaging solutions from concept to final production, ensuring our products stand out on shelves and online. The ideal candidate will blend artistic talent with technical skills in structural design, materials, and print production

Key Responsibilities

. Conceptualization & Design: Develop creative packaging concepts, structures, and graphics that align with brand identity and target audience needs.

. Prototyping: Create 3D mock-ups and prototypes to test functionality, durability, and aesthetics before mass production.

. Production Files: Create print-ready files (die lines) with accurate dimensions, color specs, and bleed specifications.

. Collaboration: Work with marketing, product development, and manufacturing teams to ensure designs meet branding, cost, and safety requirements.

. Sustainability: Research and implement sustainable, eco-friendly materials and reduce waste in packaging designs.

. Market Analysis: Stay updated on packaging trends, consumer psychology, and competitive packaging landscapes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

. Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.

. Experience: 3+ years of experience in packaging design, preferably in FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or retail.

. Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, ArtiosCAD).

. Technical Knowledge: Understanding of printing processes (offset, digital, flexo), packaging substrates (cardboard, plastics), and structural die lines.

. Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating creative, functional, and print-ready packaging designs.

Common Performance Metrics

. Reduction in packaging production costs.

. Adherence to project timelines and deadlines.

. Accuracy of print-ready files (minimal prepress errors).

. Successful launch of new packaging designs
