Key Responsibilities
1. Overseas Investment & Compliance Structuring
- Establish and implement overseas subsidiary governance structures and management systems
- Conduct in-depth research on local laws, tax regimes, foreign investment policies, financial regulations and environmental requirements
- Design and implement compliant overseas investment structures
- Coordinate with external advisors (legal, tax, accounting, banking) to ensure regulatory compliance
2. Greenfield Project Development (Feed Mills & Livestock Farms)
- Lead feasibility studies, site selection and financial modelling
- Manage end-to-end project execution including:
-Land acquisition and regulatory approvals
-Design coordination with engineering firms
-Equipment procurement and installation
-Construction supervision
-Commissioning and operational setup
- Develop operational framework for feed production and livestock farming
3. Full Project Lifecycle Management
- Prepare investment proposals and board papers
- Develop project timelines, budgets and milestone tracking systems
- Monitor progress, cost control and risk management
- Conduct periodic reporting to senior management
- Oversee project completion, evaluation and closure
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Agriculture, Animal Science, Engineering, Finance or related fields
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in: Feed mill or livestock farming operations Overseas investment or project development
- Proven hands-on experience in greenfield project setup
- Strong understanding of agricultural industry supply chains
- Familiarity with foreign investment regulations and tax structures
- Strong financial modelling and project budgeting capabilities
- Fluent in English Mandarin proficiency preferred
- Willingness to travel extensively and be stationed overseas when required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Southeast Asia, Middle East or emerging markets
- Experience working with large agricultural groups or multinational corporations
- PMP or equivalent project management certification
