Overhead Crane Maintenance & Service Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Overhead Crane Maintenance & Service Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance works for overhead travelling cranes at industrial facilities in Singapore.

The technician will be responsible for inspection, servicing, troubleshooting and repair of crane mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance servicing for overhead travelling cranes

• Conduct inspection, lubrication and adjustment of crane components

• Attend to breakdown and corrective maintenance

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults

• Inspect hoist, gearbox, motor, brake system, wire rope and control panels

• Perform load testing assistance when required

• Prepare and submit service reports

• Ensure compliance with MOM WSH safety regulations

• Follow safe work procedures and risk assessment requirements
  
  Job Requirements

  NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

  Minimum 2 years experience in overhead crane maintenance

  Knowledge of Demag overhead crane systems is an advantage.

  Basic knowledge of electrical & mechanica troubleshooting

  Able to work at height

  Possess Class 3 driving licence (preferred)

  Good teamwork and communication skills
  
  Working Hours : 8 Hours per day
