We are seeking an experienced OutSystems Developer to join our IT application development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, testing and enhancing enterprise applications using the OutSystems platform. The role requires strong hands-on OutSystems development expertise, adherence to application architecture and coding best practices, and the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams and external partners.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide implementation, application maintenance and testing support for IT application systems developed using the OutSystems platform.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and work closely with external parties, ICT providers and government agencies on system operations, maintenance, new initiatives and application enhancements.
- Design, develop, customise and enhance applications using OutSystems while ensuring performance, scalability, maintainability and reliability.
- Ensure code follows OutSystems coding best practices, application architecture patterns and development standards, with a focus on performance optimisation.
- Participate in the complete SDLC, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and production support.
- Support troubleshooting, debugging and resolution of application issues across development, testing and production environments.
Job Requirement:
- Must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Software Developer, with strong hands-on experience in OutSystems development. Overall experience not more than 8 years
- Must hold an OutSystems Associate Developer certification in Reactive Web, Traditional Web and/or OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC).
- Strong hands-on experience in OutSystems application development, customisation, integration and application maintenance.
- Good understanding of OutSystems architecture, coding standards, reusable components and application performance optimisation.
- Experience working across application development, testing and production support environments.
- Experience in using AI development tools such as Microsoft Copilot to accelerate application development, debugging, error reduction, workflow automation and data integration/modelling is preferred.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, including ticket management and Azure Pipelines for application deployment, will be an added advantage.
Good to Have:
- Cloud certification from one or more Cloud Service Providers, preferably AWS.
- Experience working on SDLC-related projects across the full software development lifecycle.
- Strong experience working in Agile development environments.
- Knowledge of application security principles, secure coding practices and application development standards/methodologies.
