Role Overview
We are seeking capable and hands-on OutSystems Developers to join the Enterprise Technology division and support the development of system integration and digital transformation solutions.
This role is part of the core team, responsible for building pilot projects, developing MVP solutions, and establishing reusable components before scaling delivery through offshore teams.
The ideal candidate is able to work independently on assigned modules, contribute to solution discussions, and deliver practical solutions in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Application Development (OutSystems)
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using OutSystems
- Build scalable, maintainable, and high-quality modules and components
- Ensure alignment with architecture, coding standards, and best practices
2. MVP & Iterative Development
- Participate in rapid MVP development and iterative delivery
- Translate business and functional requirements into working solutions
- Iterate based on feedback and evolving requirements
- Balance speed and quality in delivery
3. System Integration
- Implement integrations with external systems (APIs, ERP, IoT, third-party services)
- Work with Solution Architect to understand integration design and system architecture
- Ensure reliable and efficient data flow between systems
4. Collaboration & Contribution
- Work closely with Project Manager and Product Designer to understand requirements and workflows
- Collaborate with Solution Architect and contribute to solution discussions
- Provide input on technical feasibility and implementation approach
5. Code Quality & Best Practices
- Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability
- Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement practices
- Follow development standards, version control, and deployment processes
6. Testing & Support
- Perform unit testing and support integration testing
- Assist in UAT preparation and issue resolution
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and enhancement requests
7. Continuous Improvement
- Improve technical skills in OutSystems and related technologies
- Contribute to reusable components and development standards
- Develop understanding of system architecture and integration patterns
Requirements
Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in software or application development
- Proven ability to work independently on modules or features
Technical Skills
- Experience or exposure to OutSystems
- Strong understanding of programming fundamentals (e.g. JavaScript, C#, Java, or similar)
- Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, REST APIs)
- Understanding of database concepts and data structures
- Basic understanding of system integration and API-based development
Preferred Experience
- Experience in system integration or API-based development
- Exposure to real-world business applications or operational systems
Education
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
- Candidates with strong technical fundamentals and hands-on project experience will also be considered
Certifications
- OutSystems certification (e.g. Associate/Professional Developer)
- Other relevant technical certifications are a plus but not mandatory
