Your new role
The Outreach & Engagement Senior Assistant Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the organisation's strategy for healthcare scholarships and preservice sponsorship programmes.
This highly visible role combines strategic oversight with handson execution, ensuring a seamless and impactful talent pipeline.
You will be responsible for administering and implementing scholarship and sponsorship programmes, coordinating roadshows, talks, and fairs, and facilitating selection processes including candidate shortlisting and interview arrangements. In addition, you will plan orientation programmes and engagement events for scholars and sponsored students, develop outreach strategies to increase sponsorship takeup rates, and ensure smooth onboarding experiences.
The role also involves refining sponsorship strategies in alignment with workforce planning needs, managing publicity efforts, overseeing funding processes, and serving as the key liaison between national healthcare authorities and institutions.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed, you should hold a recognised degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field, with at least 3-5 years of experience in HR, scholarships or sponsorships management, or student outreach and talent development. A strong understanding of the healthcare sector and workforce development strategies is essential, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships across diverse stakeholders.
You should be collaborative, missiondriven, and possess strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with a focus on datadriven decisionmaking.
