Outlet Manager -Japanese Speaking

OVERVIEW

We are supporting the launch of a renowned Japanese food brand entering the Singapore market for the first time.

As a key member of the inaugural outlet team, we are looking for an Outlet Manager (high chance to be promoted an area manager)to lead all aspects of store operations.
This role will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including pre-opening preparations, daily operations management, team leadership, sales performance management, and service quality improvement. As the business expands, there will be opportunities to progress into multi-store management or Area Manager positions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

-Lead the pre-opening activities and launch of the new outlet
-Manage and continuously improve all aspects of outlet operations
-Monitor and achieve sales, profitability, and operational KPI targets
-Train, develop, and manage both full-time and part-time staff, including roster planning
-Maintain and enhance customer service standards and product quality
-Oversee inventory control, ordering processes, and cost management
-Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards
-Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally
-Coordinate and report to headquarters and relevant internal stakeholders
-Contribute to the development of operational procedures and systems to support future multi-outlet expansion

JOB REQUIREMENTS

-Experience in outlet/store operations within the F&B, retail, or service industry
-Management experience as an Outlet Manager, Assistant Manager, Supervisor, or in a similar leadership role
-Experience in staff recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management
-Understanding of sales management and basic financial performance metrics
-Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
-Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
-Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering excellent service standards
-Basic Japanese communication skills to facilitate simple internal communication with the Japan headquarters
-Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
