About the Role
You live and breathe the outdoors - from bikes and trails to tents and travel. You're driven by performance, relationships, and the thrill of building markets from the ground up. As Outdoor Sales Manager - APAC, you'll lead the development and execution of sales strategies across the Asia-Pacific region, managing key retail and distribution accounts while identifying and establishing new market segments in Biking, Lifestyle, and Outdoor.
Your mission: strengthen our presence in traditional outdoor sectors (Camping, Hiking, Travel) while unlocking growth in emerging lifestyle and mobility channels - shaping the future of outdoor performance and adventure in APAC.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Business Growth
. Manage and expand partnerships with top key accounts across the APAC region.
. Develop regional account strategies to drive sell-in and sell-out performance.
. Negotiate annual agreements, terms, and joint business plans with key partners.
New Market Development
. Identify, approach, and establish new business opportunities in the Biking, Lifestyle, and Travel Retail sectors.
. Evaluate and onboard new distribution partners or specialty retailers aligned with the brand's premium positioning.
. Work closely with the marketing and product teams to tailor go-to-market strategies for new segments.
Outdoor Segment Leadership
. Maintain and strengthen relationships within traditional outdoor channels - including Camping, Hiking, and Travel accounts.
. Leverage local insights and community engagement to build authentic brand presence in each outdoor category.
Market & Trend Analysis
. Conduct regular market assessments and competitive analyses to identify growth opportunities and adapt strategies by country.
. Track and report on regional sales performance, pricing structures, and market developments.
Trade Marketing & Events
. Plan and execute regional sales initiatives, product launches, and in-store activations.
. Represent the brand at trade shows, key events, and dealer meetings.
Forecasting & Reporting
. Deliver accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and business reviews for the APAC market.
. Ensure consistent pipeline tracking and timely reporting on key account performance.
Qualifications & Experience
. Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
. 2 + years of sales experience in the Outdoor, Bike, or Sporting Goods industry, ideally within APAC.
. Proven success in managing key accounts and developing new business in international markets.
. Strong understanding of the outdoor and lifestyle retail landscape across APAC.
. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
. Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on, results-driven approach.
. Fluent in English (additional Asian languages a plus).
. High willingness to travel throughout the region.
