Job Purpose
The Outbound Sales Executive is responsible for executing outbound telemarketing campaigns to promote and sell insurance products. This role focuses on achieving individual sales targets, delivering excellent customer experience, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The executive will work closely with team leaders and managers to support overall sales strategies and contribute to business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to promote insurance products.
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.
- Provide accurate product information and tailor solutions to customer needs.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with MAS regulations and internal compliance standards.
- Maintain detailed records of calls and customer interactions in CRM systems.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Support retention campaigns and upsell opportunities as directed by the team leader.
Requirements
- Diploma or equivalent Certificate of General Insurance (CGI) preferred.
- Experience in outbound telemarketing or sales, ideally in insurance or financial services.
- Strong communication and persuasion skills.
- Customer-focused with ability to build rapport quickly.
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with compliance requirements and sales processes.
