MetaComp Pte Ltd is a leading Singapore-based digital payment solution provider, licensed and regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) as a Major Payment Institution, to provide Digital Payment Token Services and Cross-border Payment Transfers. (a MAS-licensed CMS holder permitted to carry out, inter alia, brokerage and custody services), MetaComp introduces its suite of services through CAMP (Client Assets Management Platform) which allow businesses to develop and scale their digital asset offerings through various products and/or services such as over-the-counter transactions, fiat payments, digital asset custody and prime brokerage.

About the Role

MetaComp is seeking a highly driven OTC Team Intern to support the development of market making and algorithmic trading capabilities within our digital assets business. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about crypto markets, quantitative trading, trading technology, and market structure.

The intern will work closely with the OTC and trading teams to support trading operations, strategy research, automation initiatives, and liquidity management projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and enhancement of market making strategies across digital asset markets
  • Assist in researching and testing algorithmic trading models and execution strategies
  • Monitor market trends, liquidity conditions, spreads, and trading activities
  • Support trading data analysis and performance reporting
  • Assist in developing automation tools and trading workflow improvements
  • Work with internal stakeholders on trading operations and system enhancements
  • Conduct research on exchange APIs, trading infrastructure, and market microstructure
  • Support reconciliation, trade monitoring, and operational processes where required
  • Prepare documentation and reports related to trading activities and projects

Requirements

  • Undergraduate pursuing Quantitative Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, or related disciplines
  • Strong interest in algorithmic trading, market making, digital assets, and financial markets
  • Basic understanding of trading concepts such as liquidity, spreads, order books, and execution
  • Familiarity with Python, SQL, or scripting languages is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Excel and data analysis
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
