Key Responsibilities
. Promote Straits Financial and its products and services
. Develop and manage client relationships to drive business growth
. Broker energy products with a focus on pricing accuracy, liquidity, and efficient execution
. Analyse energy markets, price movements, and volatility to support trading and hedging decisions
. Monitor positions, exposures, and market developments in real time
. Ensure accurate trade capture, reporting, and regulatory compliance
. Support AML/KYC onboarding processes and attend required regulatory training
. Contribute to product development, market expansion, and trading strategy discussions
Requirements
. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline
. Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience, with at least 1 year in commodity/energy broking or derivatives preferred
OR
. Polytechnic Diploma holders with at least 5 years of relevant experience in banking and finance or work experience on bank dealing floors
. Ideally licensed to trade futures/securities in Singapore (CMFAS Modules 2A and/or 6A preferred)
. Strong client relationship management skills, including business development and client servicing
. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to perform in a fast-paced environment
. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
. Fluency in Mandarin required due to client base
. Team-oriented, energetic, and willing to work extended hours when required
