OT Security Engineering Intern

Job Description

The OT Security Engineering Intern will work under the guidance of experienced engineers to assist in conducting risk assessments, security testing and network segmentation aligned with industry best practices. The Intern will also have exposure to industrial OT infrastructure, MES, and related security tooling.

Project Objectives/Learning Outcomes:

• Exposure to IEC 62443 methodology: asset inventory, zones/conduits, risk scoring, SL-T derivation.

• Build and maintain OT lab environments for hands-on practice and internal training

• Learn how OT/IT differ in architecture, protocols, and security approach. Get exposure to security testing and industry tools

• Support development of documentation, reporting templates, and runbooks

Job Requirements

• Pursuing/recent degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
• Basic networking and cybersecurity fundamentals
• Strong writing and documentation skills
• Detail-oriented, curious, willing to learn OT from scratch

Nice-to-Have

• Linux/VM experience, basic scripting
• Web app security basics (OWASP), familiarity with network security tools
