Position Overview
The OT / IoT Engineer supports the Group's OT / IoT governance, security, and architecture objectives by maintaining oversight of OT / IoT assets, supporting the implementation of policies and controls, and working with project teams and vendors to design, onboard, and operate secure OT / IoT environments. The role acts as a bridge between strategy, architecture, governance, and day-to-day execution, ensuring OT / IoT systems are securely integrated, compliant, and operationally monitored across N2 environments.
Key Responsibilities
OT / IoT Asset Oversight & Governance
. Maintain oversight of N2 OT / IoT assets, including: Asset inventory, and classification Asset registration and attestation and Alignment to approved reference architectures
. Ensure OT / IoT systems comply with policies, standards, and architectural requirements.
. Support project owners in completing asset registration, attestation, and compliance processes.
Policy, Controls & Risk Management Support
. Support the OT / IoT Lead in: Defining and implementing controls, processes, and supporting tools Ensuring compliance with OT / IoT policies, standards, and guidelines, and Managing and mitigating OT / IoT security risks
. Facilitate the integration of OT / IoT security controls into projects and platforms.
. Promote security awareness across OT / IoT project teams to strengthen security culture.
Security Operations & Monitoring
. Perform and support OT security operations, including: Security monitoring System and performance monitoring Review of operational and security events
. Collect, analyze, and report OT / IoT security and operational metrics.
. Support oversight of security operations and monitoring activities performed by project owners.
Engineering, Design & Implementation Support
. Work with project owners and vendors to: Design OT / IoT networks and system architectures Implement OT / IoT devices, networks, and supporting infrastructure and Plan onboarding, migration, and implementation activities
. Act as the point of contact for IoT shared platforms and data centers, coordinating with vendors to resolve platform or infrastructure issues.
Strategic & Performance Planning Support
. Participate in OT / IoT strategic planning and performance planning activities.
. Support the integration of OT / IoT architecture into broader enterprise and N2 environments.
. Assist in ensuring OT / IoT initiatives align with target operating models and roadmaps.
Support to OT / IoT Lead As a Governance & Delivery Support Role
. Support the Lead in: OT / IoT strategic and performance planning Integration of OT / IoT security and compliance with relevant policies Liaison with internal stakeholders (OT Operations, Risk Management, Internal Audit) Liaison with external stakeholders and vendors when required and Periodic reporting on OT / IoT security posture to GCIO, GCISO, and GIT
As an Architecture Support Role
. Support the Principal Architect and Lead in: Development, maintenance, and implementation of OT / IoT reference architectures Integration of Business Areas (BAs) into approved OT / IoT architectures Implementation of secure OT / IoT technology solutions
Technical & Domain Knowledge
. Hands-on experience with OT / IoT systems, industrial platforms, or control environments (e.g. PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, industrial PCs, sensors, CCTV, access control).
. Strong understanding of OT / IT integration, including: Network segmentation Secure connectivity between IT and OT environments.
. Familiarity with OT / IoT cybersecurity principles, including monitoring, access control, and risk management.
Governance & Stakeholder Skills
. Experience working with business project owners, IT teams, and external vendors.
. Ability to translate policies, standards, and architecture into practical and implementable solutions.
. Strong documentation, coordination, and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
