Responsibilities
- Perform orthoptic assessments for patients with ocular motility disorders. Conduct the prism cover test to measure strabismus. Assess binocular visual function using tests such as stereopsis, field of binocular single vision, Hess chart, and synoptophore. Evaluate visual capabilities of non-verbal children. Educate patients on health, safety, and infection control practices. Prescribe and manage low vision services as part of specialist care.
Requirements
- Degree in Orthoptics candidates with a Diploma and relevant work experience will also be considered. Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
