Job Summary
Manage the import process for all incoming shipments via air, ocean, and road, ensuring timely communication, accurate documentation, and coordination with forwarders to support supply chain efficiency at ADC Singapore.
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor all import shipments into ADC Singapore via air, ocean, and road, ensuring timely updates and communication of delays to stakeholders
- Coordinate with forwarders to ensure accurate import permit declarations, customs clearance, and delivery into ADC Singapore
- Verify accuracy of all import shipment permits declared by forwarders and ensure permits are declared within 7 days of shipment arrival
- Update supply availability dates promptly in Oracle system to maintain accurate inventory records
- Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews with forwarders to assess performance and resolve issues
- Verify import freight bills to ensure billing accuracy and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare monthly tonnage and GST reports to support financial and operational tracking
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all import-related matters, facilitating communication across teams
- Attend production meetings and quarter-end traffic calls to align import activities with operational needs
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities to support system improvements
- Support job rotation initiatives by assisting in processing and scheduling of product and spare parts orders
- Perform other ad hoc business tasks as required to support team objectives
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum Diploma or University degree
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in the supply chain industry
