Order Processing and Logistics Executive

Summary of Job

The Order Processing and Logistics Executive focuses on processing orders in compliance with company guidelines, monitoring order activities, arranging shipment/logistics, procurement of equipment and services, and invoicing.

Job Description :

. Review and process orders for trucks and warehouse equipment

. Handle local procurement of accessories, attachments & services

. Create and monitor purchase orders and ensure all invoices are received on a timely basis

. Manage order activities & shipping arrangement to minimize shipping costs

. Provide updates on delivery schedules/ shipment date

. Highlight and escalate when the planned delivery/ shipment schedule is out of expected range

. Prepare documentation and coordinate with forwarding agent for custom clearance

. Coordinate and cooperate with warehouse team on goods receipt and delivery

. Stock revaluation & goods receipt

. Goods issuance, serialization, local delivery, and invoicing

. Assist in local transportation tender, overseas overland tender as well as sea-freight tender

. Ensure processing and monitoring of orders and purchases through SAP system, and through various reporting

. Work closely with different functions, including inside sales for order processing flow, and workshop team to a ensure smooth supply chain process

. Execute continuous improvement projects assigned to team

. Assist with ad-hoc duties and reports, as & when assigned by superior/ the Management Team

Qualification and Experience :

. Minimum 3 years relevant working experience around order management, supply chain or logistics

. Relevant business/ commercial diploma/ degree is preferred

. Proficient in both written and spoken English for handling English speaking people.

. Experience in custom clearance and international shipment is preferred

. Preferable experience in SAP ERP software system

. Proficient in MS Office application especially MS Excel
