Oral Health Therapist/Hygienist

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist/Oral Health Therapist to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about preventive oral care, patient education, and supporting dentists in delivering high-quality treatment.

. Patient assessment: Examine teeth and gums to identify issues such as cavities, tartar buildup, or gum disease.

. Preventive treatments: Perform scaling, root planing, polishing, fluoride application, pit and fissure sealants, and whitening.

. X-rays and diagnostics: Take and develop dental radiographs to support diagnosis.

. Anesthesia administration: Administer local anesthetics or nitrous oxide when required.

. Oral health education: Teach patients proper brushing, flossing, and preventive techniques.

. Treatment planning: Develop individualized oral care plans in collaboration with dentists.

. Dental assisting: Assist dentists in orthodontic, periodontal, and restorative procedures.

. Infection control: Sanitize and clean clinical equipment.

. Patient counselling: Provide lifestyle and diet advice to reduce oral health risks.
