Role Summary
The Oracle HCM Data Migration Consultant will be responsible for leading and executing Oracle HCM Cloud data migration activities for large-scale enterprise implementations. The role involves managing end-to-end data migration processes, ensuring data quality, validation, reconciliation, and seamless integration across HR systems and business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Oracle HCM Cloud data migration activities for enterprise implementations and transformation projects.
- Perform extraction, cleansing, transformation, validation, and loading of HR data into Oracle HCM Cloud.
- Manage migration of HR data domains including Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, and Talent Management.
- Utilize Oracle HCM migration tools such as HDL and HCM Extracts for large-scale data migration projects.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, reconciliation, and compliance throughout migration cycles.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to gather migration requirements.
- Troubleshoot data migration issues and implement data quality improvement measures.
- Support testing, UAT, cutover activities, and post-migration validation.
- Prepare technical documentation, mapping documents, and migration reports.
- Work closely with geographically distributed teams in consulting or enterprise transformation environments.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in IT, Human Resources, or related fields.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Oracle HCM and Data Migration projects.
- Proven experience delivering Oracle HCM Cloud data migration for large or complex implementations.
- Strong understanding of HR data domains such as Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, and Talent.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle HCM data migration tools including HDL and HCM Extracts.
- Experience in data validation, reconciliation, cleansing, and data quality controls.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in consulting, enterprise transformation, or large-scale implementation environments.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
