About Us

GlobalFoundries is a leading semiconductor foundry enabling innovation in high‑growth markets. We help customers design, develop, and manufacture semiconductors that power next‑generation technology worldwide. Our scale, expertise, and global footprint create opportunities for high‑impact professionals working across business and technology domains.

Role Summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking an experienced IT professional to lead the functional execution of semiconductor IP integrations following acquisitions. This individual contributor will be responsible for ensuring that acquired semiconductor IP can be effectively sold, quoted, contracted, billed, and revenue‑recognized within GlobalFoundries systems, with particular emphasis on Oracle ERP enablement. This role will play a critical part in transition planning and execution under defined TSA timelines, where access to source systems and teams is time‑limited.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive extraction, validation, and documentation of critical acquisition data, including contracts, billing logic, revenue recognition rules before access to source systems ends.

  • Own IT execution for integrating acquired semiconductor IP into GlobalFoundries systems to ensure it can be sold, quoted, contracted, billed, and revenue recognized.

  • Lead functional enablement primarily in Oracle ERP, ensuring contract-based billing, revenue recognition, and non-inventory IP product configuration.

  • Collaborate with CRM and PLM stakeholders, including D365 and Teamcenter, to integrate IP commercial data and enable quoting, visibility, and product structure where applicable.

  • Collaborate closely with Legal, Finance, Product and Sales teams to operationalize IP licensing and royalty models within enterprise systems.

  • Translate complex commercial models, including upfront license fees, per-design/tapeout charges, royalty-based revenue, and maintenance or support agreements, into executable system configurations.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualifications

  • 15+ years of enterprise IT delivery or systems experience.

  • Experience converting commercial and contractual terms into executable system design and implementation.

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders such as Legal, Finance, and Business teams to operationalize commercial terms in IT systems.

  • Hands-on experience Oracle ERP, particularly in contract-based billing, revenue recognition, and non-inventory or product-service offerings.

  • Demonstrable understanding of commercial semiconductor IP business models, including how IP is sold, contracted, and billed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in semiconductor or foundry environments.

  • Exposure to royalty reporting, customer billing reconciliation, or audit-related processes.
