Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in Oracle GoldenGate to manage, maintain, and optimize mission-critical database systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for database performance, high availability, replication, and disaster recovery strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database environments (11g/12c/19c or higher)
- Administer and support Oracle GoldenGate for real-time data replication
- Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions
- Monitor database performance and proactively tune SQL queries and systems
- Manage backup and recovery using RMAN
- Perform database patching, upgrades, and migrations
- Troubleshoot database issues, replication lag, and data inconsistencies
- Ensure database security, compliance, and access control
- Collaborate with application teams for deployment and performance optimization
- Maintain documentation for database configurations and processes
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle GoldenGate (installation, configuration, troubleshooting)
- Expertise in Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and ASM
- Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning
- Experience with backup and recovery strategies (RMAN)
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments
- Familiarity with OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
