Job Description

Key Deliverables:

  • Install, configure, and harden SQL Server and Oracle databases
  • Manage Backup-Restore scripts, AOAG (SQL Server), DataGuard (Oracle), and conduct DR testing
  • Lead database migrations and version upgrades
  • Respond to incidents, diagnose and resolve database performance and security issues

Role Responsibilities:

  • Maintain inventory and documentation for database environments
  • Provide audit support and evidence for compliance
  • Lead DBA team guidance and handle escalations
  • Manage patching, vulnerability resolution, and change/release processes
  • Provide on-call support including after-hours, weekends, and holidays
