Job Title: OCI Cloud Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled OCI Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise cloud solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in OCI services, cloud networking, security, automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud operations. This role will be responsible for delivering secure, scalable, and reliable cloud platforms while supporting enterprise migration and modernization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments, including Compute, Storage, Networking, and core cloud services.
- Implement and maintain OCI Landing Zones, Compartments, governance frameworks, and enterprise cloud standards.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and OCI Resource Manager.
- Configure and manage OCI networking components including VCNs, DRGs, FastConnect, VPNs, Load Balancers, and Service Gateways.
- Implement OCI security controls, including IAM policies, Cloud Guard, KMS, logging, and security best practices.
- Develop automation scripts using Python and Bash to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual activities.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, OCI DevOps, Bamboo, or similar tools.
- Support cloud migration and hybrid cloud initiatives, ensuring seamless integration with enterprise environments.
- Monitor cloud platform performance, availability, and security using OCI Monitoring and Logging Analytics.
- Perform incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and production support activities.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Application, Security, and DevOps teams to deliver cloud solutions and platform enhancements.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise cloud engineering and cloud platform operations.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- 2+ years of experience implementing OCI Landing Zones, Compartments, and governance frameworks.
- 3+ years of experience with Terraform and OCI Resource Manager.
- 4+ years of experience in OCI networking including VCN, DRG, FastConnect, VPN, and Load Balancers.
- 3+ years of experience implementing OCI security controls and governance.
- 3+ years of experience in automation and scripting using Python and Bash.
- 2+ years of experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- 2+ years of experience in cloud migration or hybrid cloud implementations.
- Strong understanding of cloud monitoring, logging, incident management, and operational support.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Cloud certifications such as OCI Architect Professional, OCI Architect Associate, or equivalent.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise production environments.
- Knowledge of container platforms, Kubernetes, and DevOps best practices.
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or other highly regulated industries.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
