Job Description:

  • Financial stewardship and budgetary control: Manage the DEM compensation value to remain within the allocated budget, performing financial tracking, monthly reporting and aligning with senior management on projections.
  • Predictive modeling: Project potential costs associated with aging stock and high-risk categories, providing and to the commercial and ops teams to mitigate financial impact.
  • SOP optimization: Identify operational gaps and control standardized SOPs for handling physical stocks and system transactions to proactively reduce unsellable.
  • Expiry Lifecycle Management: Design and enforce FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) protocols to minimize write-offs due to product expiration.
  • PMO & Strategic Execution: Act as the Project Management Office for all DEM-related initiatives, setting clear targets for the operations team and managing timelines.
  • Root Cause Attribution: Conduct deep-dive investigations into DEM trends, building audit frameworks to distinguish between systemic sync errors, process non-compliance, and physical shrinkage
  • Cross-functional alignment: Lead regular reviews with Warehouse leads to calibrate operational performance against DEM KPIs, ensuring a unified approach to inventory integrity.


Requirements:

  • 1-5 years of experience in Inventory control, loss prevention, or warehouse operations excellence. Candidates with relevant experience in large-scale warehouses or distribution centers are considered.
  • Strong analytical skills: Ability to transform raw inventory data into financial insights, utilizing Excel, SQL, or BI tools to track trends in damage and missing rates.
  • Financial literacy: Strong understanding of budget management and cost-projection logic, with the ability to justify operational spend against loss-prevention ROI.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Proven ability to deconstruct high shrinkage rates into actionable root causes and structural process improvements.
  • Project Management Capability: Experience in leading cross-functional projects (PMO), managing milestones, and holding operational stakeholders accountable to performance targets.
  • Familiarity with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and how systemic inventory transactions impact physical stock accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills to align with both ground warehouse staff and executive management on sensitive financial and operational KPIs.
  • Proficient in English: Strong verbal and written communication skills for documenting SOPs and reporting performance to regional stakeholders.
