You will be part of the SNEC (Eye Clinic at Changi General Hospital) Optometry Service Team, providing quality eye care to complement doctors clinical management of patients. With opportunities to explore areas in low vision, primary eye care, and specialty contact lenses, you will be equipped with relevant skillsets to practice at the top of your professional license in a medical specialty centre.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform objective and subjective refraction
- Conduct basic binocular vision assessments, such as cover test and ocular motility test
- Perform preliminary examinations, such as colour vision and pupillary assessment
- Educate patients on vision status, proper vision care, and usage of various optical aids
Job Requirements
- Degree in Optometry with 3 years of relevant experience
- Registered with the Singapore Optometrists and Opticians Board
- A team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to work proactively and independently
- Willing to work at other clinics when required
- Standard 42hr work week
- Continuous professional training provided
